(This is for you 2earls. :0)

I noticed a thread several days ago in which a member was inquiring how to post pics in the threads. As an artist, I'm always having to deal with pics, posting, pixel sizes, etc. and so I thought I'd add a post with some helpful information regarding how to add pics. (Every site is different and there are people who struggle with adding pics, so I hope this helps, for those who want the information.)

The easiest way to add a pic is to attach the file/pic directly from your hard drive. Click on the "Choose files" link at the bottom left area of each post. (You'll see the upload bar moving across as it uploads.) After it has finished, you should now see a thumbnail of the image in the post itself, with two options to choose from at the bottom of the thumbnail inside if it:

a.) a + sign that says Insert into Post
b.) a trash can icon that says Remove this attachment

Select the + sign if you want to add the pic. You'll see it immediately insert into the post. Once it's been inserted, you can double click on the image (in the post) and will be able to resize the pic if you like, as well as align it to the left or to the right. Once satisfied, finish your post and click on Submit Topic at the bottom and you should be good to go.

As somebody else mentioned (in another thread), you can also link your pic from another site via URL (such as Photobucket, etc.) by creating a dummy account specifically for DBG pics. Really though, this way is so much easier. As the other member also mentioned, whatever you do, if you're going to upload any pics to this site, be smart and make sure that each image is unique to this site, meaning; make sure that you can't find it anywhere else on the web. (Including private FB accounts or any other type of account and/or location.) And, if you're a photo editor and have access to your EXIF data, be sure that all of your personal information is wiped away first, such as metadata, first or last names, and any other EXIF data that can be traced back to you.

Hope this helps some of you.

I was just going to PS how appropriate your subject matter is. Is that your photography?

It is my photography. Took the photo yesterday and then blended in a grunge texture with it. I have a semi-obsession going on with these gorgeous plants (for several reasons). It may be obvious...heheh...
