M Theory

I find this theory so much better than the original big bang simply because I never bought into the whole" the universe evolved from an infinitesimally tiny ass bit of nothing". Never made sense and never computed even taking into account the strangeness of quantum mechanics. Is it me or what?

According to M theory although we all live in a 3-D universe(well 4, length, width, height and time, gotta but that time factor in there) or so we believe, there may be 11 other dimensions which we are not aware of. The basic premise is based on branes or Membranes that all Universes consist of, or are surrounded by (there may be an infinite number of universi, <is that a word'n shit?) who knows.

Anyhoo, the Membranes of opposing Universi collided producing  what is commonly referred to as the "bing bang", I like this way betta, what about you guys out there in TV land?

**After Thought** Just in case you cant deal with the whole idea of Quantum Mechanics, I cant either. I mean P-lease. How the fuck can there be an infinite # of chooses for only one particular action? The only way that shit makes sense is for there to an infinite # of universi, which does make sense even considering the Grandfather Paradox and all that cool ass stuff.

**Second AfterThought** heck, if you take into account dark matter & dark energy & the apparently expanding nature of the universe (or at least ours anyhoo) it all kinda makes sense. Yet, I'm not really sure I buy into the whole neverending expanding & contracting universe thingy, M theory explains it way betta. Just Sayin.

Hey NS.  Seriously... the nonsensical speed posting is wearing thin. ... really thin.  It's obvious what you are trying to do.... why not try contributing something of value regarding a vendor, potential source, actual feedback instead the spew that you continue to put forth?  200+ posts of junk in less than a month.  I kindly and respectfully request you check out a place more your speed, Topix.  Have a wonderful evening getting in another 50 useless posts!  S-

Thx for the heads up brother, all airborne should stick together. Wasnt speed posting, takes me awhile to type all this out. I think I may have already stated I go to a local clinic so I.........whats the point, guess there isnt. Just tryin to get an intelligent conversation goin, thats all. Later

I'm so incredibly sorry you have the inability to understand the most basic fundamental principals of life on this planet, our place in the universe, and the diametrically opposing forces that govern every living being.

I suggest college, reading a book or 2, watching a documentary from time to time, trying to stay informed on the most critical issues this planet has ever faced, or just get wasted all the time.

Actually I understand everything you're attempting to say, that's what makes it retarded. I'd go with intelligent design over this garbage

M theory seems to unite all 5 string theories that are based on 10 dimensions, where supergravity reacts with 5 dimensional branes. I didnt get it at first either, gotta think about  it just a wee bit.

Einstein was trying to come up with a unified theory so hey, might take a liitle thought.

I did not here nor anywhere state that I was Airborne". I have never been. If you inferred that from the description of a tattoo I wrote about... will just say that it had nothing to do with military. I woukd not ever discredit the men / women who serve or have served our country by "pretending" to have served in the military. Want to be very clear on that. Tat means what it means but no military connection to it. S-

A Beach Bum(with a bad ass PHD) in Hawaii come up with this.....if you get into theoretical physics, look out.

Physicist and surfer Garrett Lisi presents a controversial new model of the universe that -- just maybe -- answers all the big questions. If nothing else, it's the most beautiful 8-dimensional model of elementary particles and forces you've ever seen.

Physicist Garrett Lisi has proposed a new "theory of everything" -- a grand unified theory that explains all the elementary particles, as well as gravity.

Working from principles of differential geometry, physicist Garrett Lisi is developing a new unified theory that purports to explain all the elementary particles, and gravity, in one elegant model. His theory is based on a mathematical shape called E8. With 248 symmetries, E8 is large, complex and beautiful -- and Lisi believes the relationships of its symmetries correspond to known particles and forces, including gravity.

His work, explained in his paper "An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything," and in an ongoing discussion on FQXi, is still on science's speculative fringe. But some physicists believe he could be pointing the way toward a truly unified theory.

"This is an 'all or nothing' kind of theory -- meaning it's going to end up agreeing with and predicting damn near everything, or it's wrong. At this stage of development, it could go either way."
